About Us
Since 1976, our work has shaped communities across the UAE through projects that defined neighbourhoods and shaped the built landscape.
Muwaḥid Development operates under Muwaḥid Investment Group, established in 2025 as a continuation of this legacy by the next generation of the Muwahid family. The Group builds on nearly five decades of industry experience, first established through United Engineering Construction by Engineer Abdul Halim Muwahid.
Where UNEC built its reputation through large-scale contracting, Muwaḥid Development brings that depth of knowledge to a focused chapter of residential development, shaped by design and lived experience.
Our approach is grounded in legacy and guided by a clear belief that homes should feel connected to people and to place. Cultural memory informs our spaces through proportion, material, and spatial experience. Each project is shaped around everyday life and built with long-term value in mind.

In 1976, I began this journey with a clear belief: if you build properly, your work will stand and your name will stand with it.
We started at a time when the UAE itself was still young. Over nearly five decades, we grew with the country. As the nation advanced, we advanced with it. Our projects became part of its cities and its daily life. This has been a responsibility I have carried with pride.
Through these years, we built more than structures. We built a standard of work within our family and our teams. We value integrity in our decisions, respect in our partnerships, and accountability in what we deliver. These principles shaped our first fifty years and continue to guide us.
Today, Muwaḥid Investment Group marks the next chapter. The next generation steps forward with experience around them and a clear understanding of what this name represents. They carry the responsibility of building for the years ahead.
I look ahead with confidence. The foundation is strong. As the UAE continues its journey, we will continue ours, committed to the same standards that defined our beginning and will guide the next fifty years.
